Earth Defense Force 5: Protecting Earth from Alien Invaders
Earth Defense Force 5 is an action game developed by D3 Publisher designed for Play Station 4. It is a sequel to the Earth Defense Force 4.1 game and features more content than its predecessor. In this game, you are a soldier of the Earth Defense Force (EDF), and your mission is to exterminate the invading aliens that threaten the earth. The game has over 100 missions in five different levels of difficulty, and you have access to more than 1000 usable arms.
The series presents a first-time enemy alien that is unprecedented and intellectual. The enemy alien, known as the 'Primer,' requires a combination of courage and wisdom to confront. The battle with this intelligent enemy produces deep despair but leads to the most fun yet. Additionally, the game has an online co-op mode that allows up to four players to join the battle with other EDF members in the real world. Players can control four combatants, and all missions can be played in online co-op mode.
